Meet Loki!

 

Loki and his brother Thor were surrendered to a shelter after living on a chain most of their lives. Loki is approximately 8 years old, and they were both heartworm positive. The shelter started their treatment and reached out to rescue for these boys. Everyone who meets them falls in love. Loki has been spending time in our cell dog program while he recovers from his treatment, and he’s ready for a forever home where he can charm everyone he meets.

His handler reports that there isn’t anything that Loki doesn’t like. He loves meeting people, meeting other dogs, watching bunnies and birds, sleeping next to his person, toys, and getting pats and attention. He even nudges you if it seems like you forgot you’re supposed to be touching him! Loki is learning basic obedience commands and is so smart. He enjoys leash walks and seems interested in the balls and frisbees he hasn’t been allowed to chase because of his heartworm treatment.

Loki’s treatment is over and his leash restrictions have been lifted! He wants to celebrate by meeting his new family. He is housebroken, crate trained, and up to date on vaccines. His adoption fee will be $425. We adopt to Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
