Meet Louisa!

Louisa is a 5-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer looking for her forever home after the heartbreaking loss of her owner. She came to us when her owner sadly passed away, and while her story started with loss, it’s quickly become one filled with love, healing, and hope.

Louisa adores Busy Bones, cozy blankets, and sharing plenty of sweet kisses. She’s wonderful with other dogs and older children, making her an easy fit for a family or home with furry siblings. She does best in a home without cats, as she’s not a fan of our feline friends.

This gentle girl is your classic Velcro GSP—she’ll happily follow you from room to room, always by your side. She is incredibly loyal, affectionate, and eager to bond with her people. Louisa never meets a stranger, and everyone who crosses her path falls a little in love—including her foster family, who can’t say enough about how special she is.

 

If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will love you endlessly and stick with you through every adventure (and every nap), Louisa is your girl. Her adoption fee is $425.

We adopt to Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
