MEET BUG

Bug is a handsome 5-year-old German Shorthair Pointer (possibly hound) blend with a heart full of love and a goofy, gentle spirit. Bug has been part of a special Cell Dog Program, where he lived with a dedicated handler 24/7 and learned his basic commands (sit, stay, come, up and down) and also an impressive list of commands including mine, yours, speak, sing, paw, wave, high five and others! Bug is wonderful with other dogs (big and small), loves children and gets along with everyone he meets. He’s affectionate, social and happiest when he’s part of the action. Because he’s used to having a companion around, Bug would thrive in a home with other dogs or a human who’s home often.

Bug is also a bit of a talker – that’s where his hound side shines through! He’ll happily “chat” with you when he’s excited and he always has a specific thing that he wants to talk about! He enjoys chasing a ball (even if he hasn’t quite mastered bringing it back yet) and walks beautifully on a leash. He’s also responds to his name like a pro.

Did we mention he loves cheese? That’s the fastest way to his heart!
