MEET SUMMER!

Have you ever wanted a sweet, smart wonderful GSP kind of dog, but without the ability to hurdle your couch or eat your entire breakfast off the counter while you pour another cup of coffee? Meet Summer!! This adorable GSP mix girl is practically perfect. She came to rescue from a hoarding situation where she lived outside and had many litters of pups she had to raise under a trailer or truck wherever she could find shelter.

Summer is approximately three years old and has been spending time in our cell dog program learning house manners and crate training. Her handler says she loves playing chase outside with other dogs and cuddling when she’s inside. He says that she’s scared of thunderstorms, which is absolutely heartbreaking when you think of her living outside and trying to protect her babies from bad weather. We are so glad she never has to sleep outside in a storm again. This girl LOVES attention and will snuggle with you on the couch or bed, often on her back with her short little legs in the air. She is a smart girl who knows sit, stay, come, down, heel, and up.

Summer is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, house broken, and crate trained. If you think you could be Summer’s perfect home, please complete an application. Her adoption fee will be $475.
