Meet Phoebe!

This adorable girl is Phoebe. She is nine years old and finds herself in need of a new forever home. Her person raised her lovingly from a puppy before passing away suddenly right before Christmas. Friends and neighbors, as well as Phoebe’s lifelong vet, attest to the wonderful care and attention she has been given all her life. A kind neighbor took her in temporarily to spare her from a shelter where dogs her age don’t make it out.

Phoebe is pure love on four legs, and she wants a home where she can be everyone’s best girl. She has a very silly beard, so it’s possible that there’s a little wirehair mixed in there, and it makes her face irresistible. She loves going on leash walks and romping around the yard. She has some prey drive and stalks chipmunks and squirrels for fun. She’s not friendly to cats. She enjoys watching television, but we don’t know what her favorite shows are. She just wants to hang out with her person.

Phoebe has a lot of spunk for a girl her age, and so much love to give. She gets along with other dogs her size and would be fine with dog siblings or as an only dog. She is housebroken and crate trained, spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative. She has never been around small kids.
