Meet Lainey!

 

This precious girl is approximately 3 years old and came to rescue after being dumped in the brutal cold. She obviously had a litter of pups at some point and was extremely thin from being on her own for several days. Fortunately, a good Samaritan picked her up and took her the shelter before she froze to death. Lainey was the most popular girl in the shelter, because she LOVES attention. This girl lives to be near her people. She has been thriving in her foster home, learning how to be a dog. We believe she had never had toys to play with, because she doesn’t quite know what to do with them. Her foster siblings are trying to teach her all about playing chase and fetch and hunting squirrels, but she’d rather stay inside where the people are. She is the definition of a Velcro dog.

Lainey’s energy level is delightful. She does not mind hanging out inside all day but would also love to walk or explore with you. She is a dog that would be terrific to take to work, on vacation, or train as a therapy dog. This girl has the perfect mix of confidence and sweetness, and she loves absolutely everyone. She is very comfortable riding in a car. We think Lainey is absolutely perfect.

Lainey is up to date on vaccines, spayed, heartworm negative, and microchipped. She’s housebroken and crate trained. Her adoption fee will be $475. We adopt to homes in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
