MEET WESTON

This big, handsome, goofy boy is Weston, a four-year-old GSP/English Pointer mix with a heart as big as his love for belly rubs. He was pulled from a crowded shelter with only hours to spare after being surrendered by his owner for repeatedly escaping from a chain. As soon as we met Weston, we understood why he kept getting away – he absolutely LOVES being with people. He is an absolute sweetheart, and it’s hard to believe someone could keep him tied up in the yard.

The name Weston means dependable, strong, grounded, sensitive, and expressive. These all describe him perfectly!
Weston is heartworm positive and has been undergoing treatment while living with a foster family. He’s doing very well, but he is so ready to be allowed to run and play again. He loves other dogs, playing with balls, and taking naps in the sun. He is great riding in the car and would love to go on trips with you and just be wherever you are.

Weston’s foster families have worked with him on housebreaking and crate training, and he’s now a very nice indoor dog. He would enjoy continuing his obedience training. He is neutered and up to date on all vaccines. His heartworm treatment will be over in about four weeks, and he’ll be ready for his forever family. If you think your home would be perfect for this amazing boy, please apply! His adoption fee will be $425.
